September is my favourite month.

I started living with my husband in September (12 years ago!). We got married in September (6 years ago). I started my own business in September (1 year ago).

For me, this is a month of my hard work coming into fruition, so I can relax and enjoy it coming to life. It’s a month of slowing down and celebrating how far I’ve come. It’s also a month of reflecting on the past year, ticking boxes off my dreams to-do list and write a new one. It’s like a January for me.

That’s why I’m super excited to pick my September’s favourites. During this month, I always feel like baking apple pies and drinking rose & raspberry tea, rub some nice essential oil into my skin and read a book snuggled into a warm blanket. I’m sure you’re feeling Autumn coming pretty soon as well, so to make you feel better about those colder days, let me share with you my top 10 items for this month.

I love celebrating Autumn by baking an apple pie and going to the forest. A lot.

It’s a little sad Summer is leaving us already, but I absolutely love Autumn! I always try to visit Poland in September, where it’s still warm and sunny, but kids are at school (so I’m alony by my favourite lake), you can gather mushrooms in the forest, or simply go for a nice walk and listen to the trees.

What can I say, I’m definitely not a big city kinda girl and I prefer to be surrounded by nature, cook on Sundays and visit the farmer’s market.
